#5 - Your 2024 Goals, Connecting to Your Audience Through Humour, Playing the Long Game

👋Happy Monday everyone!

We’re approaching end of the year (whaaaaat!!) and I don’t know about you, but 2023 has been intense for me. Loads of ups and downs, but mostly, it brought me clarity and the vision I want to continue building on in 2024.

And as I am working on my 2024 goals, which I do around this time each year, I am preparing a Xmas gift for you (yes, YOU) coming though shortly. I’ll let the emotion bubble up until the next issue!

For now, let’s dive into what’s new this week!

🎁 Early Xmas goodies: Get % access to an amazing public speaking course

“Start to Stage”

My friend Pascalle Bergmans is the Founder and CEO of Presentales, is giving our Unmtchd. community 50 £ OFF her “Start to Stage” video course where you will learn all the basics of public speaking.

From delivery techniques to stroytelling, and even mindset, if you want to scale up in 2024, this is the perfect start if you ask me!

🏆 Post of the week : Alex Hormozi.

Always play the long game.

If you know me, you know I am all about playing the long game.

It hasn’t always been this way, to be honest. I’ve mostly been impatient, wanting to check each one of the goals I had on my societal/ cultural list as soon as possible.

It took me a while to get there, hence the frustration rising up at times, but when I did get to where I wanted to be, guess what?

I felt empty and lost.

Now what? What was next?

Alex Hormozi post on LinkedIn

I loved this post from Alex Hormozi as it emphasises the thing we all need to learn at some point: think in decades, plan in months, execute daily.

Remember to set goals that motivate you and that are fuelled by your vision and your purpose.

Not by what your family, your friends, or your boss tells you it’s right.

🧚 A spark of inspiration for the week ahead.

6 Things to Leave Behind in 2023 by Steven Bartlett

At the beginning of this newsletter, I was telling you that I am working on my 2024 already. One big learning out of the last two years has been that goals without purpose + vision don’t mean a thing.

So I hope you find the vision and the purpose that will fuel your 2024 goals 🚀🚀🚀

I plan to help you with that before year end, so stay tuned…

That’s it for this issue!

Until next time, keep your 👀 on the future.
